Colusite, thumbnail, rare, type locality thumbnail, Butte, MT, UA

Here is a thumbnail of the rare tin, copper, vanadium, arsenic, antimony sulfosalt, Colusite. The brassy bit's in this matrix are all Colusite. first discovered at the East Colusa mine in Butte, Colusite is not only extremely rare, I believe it is also the only type locality mineral the Butte mining district produced. This thumbnail shows how most of the Colusite in Butte was encountered(even though rare crystals have been found as well...), as granular masses in Quartz matrix. Maybe not the prettiest, but a special mineral nevertheless. Please be advised, I ship with Ground Advantage.
