Very interesting rich green color, has different shades of green depending on the side you are looking at. The Garnet without the matrix is approx 1.8 x 2 cm. One area of the surface is incomplete but it really doesn't distract much because of the depth of the color and a rainbow next to it takes your focus away. See pictures for more details.
