Here is a nice Calcite "cross", in the style of Calcite you might find growing on the inside of Amethyst geodes, as a secondary growth. Gorgeous Calcites can be present in these Geodes. Two well terminated Calcites in an esthetic formation.The green coloration is due to the mineral Celadonite, a mica type mineral often present in these geodes, and sometimes serves as either a base, and sometimes even inclusions into the Calcite.
