Crushed Yellow and Black Bumblebee Jasper from Indonesia, Coarse Crush, Gravel Size (4mm - 2mm) for Stone Inlay, Mineral Art, or Handmade Jewelry ▏ABOUT ⧫ BUMBLEBEE JASPER▕Bumblebee "Jasper" is the trade name (technically not a real jasper) for this colorful, carbonate-rich rock that is only found in West Java, Indonesia. This vibrant rock is made of fibrous calcite with a distinctive yellow, orange, and black banding. The different colored bands are due to different mineral inclusions within the calcite's crystalline matrix. This material is relatively soft, with a Moh's hardness of 3. ▏MATERIAL ⧫ SIZE▕Our crushed coarse material is considered to be pea-sized gravel, ranging between 4 millimeters to 2 millimeters. This size is great for decorating candles, embellishment designs, orgonite pyramids, large woodworking voids, resin art, and metaphysical projects.▏MINERAL ⧫ PROPERTIES▕Mohs’s Hardness: 3Specific Gravity (g/cm3): 2.5 - 2.9Luster: Waxy, DullColor: Tan, Black, Orange-YellowOrigin: Java, Indonesia ▏EXTRA ⧫ LISTING ⧫ INFORMATION▕This product is not man-made, mixed with resin, dyed, or stabilized.
