Intense is the Best Word to Describe This Specimen! BRIGHT FL. WHITE AND GOOD PHOSPHORESCENCE, NOT YOUR NORMAL RED FL. FROM THESE CHINESE LOCALES. THIS IS FROM MY PERSONAL COLLECTION. The fluorescent photographs are sub-par. Numerous crystals of Calcite in/on matrix! A TRUE DISPLAY QUALITY SPECIMEN, I'D KEEP BUT I HAVE TO LIQUIDATE SOME OF MY PERSONAL COLLECTION. BRIGHT FLUORESCENT SPECIMEN!!! This specimen is an excellent example of Calcite XLS. (fl. BRIGHT white SW & LW and with lasting phosphorescence) from Daye, Hengyang Prefecture, Hunan Province, China. Unusual example of this species from this locale, fluorescing bright under SW and probably also under LW although I do not have a LW lamp. Well formed crystals here. Sits GREAT for display.
