A nice spray of Legrandite crystals in a limonitic type matrix, from the Ojuela mine in Mexico. The crystals, although maybe not perfect, do terminate partially into fully transparent crystals, nice build up, in a spray type crystal formation, and a good example of this rare arsenate mineral, in a cavity in a gossan type matrix, as typical at the Ojuela mine in Mexico, which, although not the type locality, has produced the best examples of this arsenate mineral. This specimen is 145 grams in weight, or 5 1/8 oz. The size is 6 cm x 4.5 cm x 2.5 cm.
